Sacristans prepare the sanctuary for services e.g. Put out the chalices, patens, bread and wine, light the candles etc. and see that the PA system is switched on.  If you would like to train to be a Sacristan, please contact Hilda Scott on 439 5610.

Other jobs related to the sacristy work include cleaning the sanctuary and the sacristy; washing the vestments (e.g. the albs, the finger-towels and the purificators); and ordering the consumables (e.g. wine, oil and candles).
