The gifts of bread and wine, along with our weekly offering, are brought to the altar at Mass. The gifts represent the offering of our-selves to our Heavenly Father. The offertory bearers represent each one of us as if we each brought our own gift to the altar. These gifts of bread and wine will become the Body and Blood of Christ which when received in the Eucharist make us one with God, one with each other and one with all creation.
